We felt that a monthly fashion column would be a well dressed addition to the website. In a saturated market of new streetwear brands, we wanted to tip the cap to GCASFM artist Rylsee and his brother Yann and their new clothing project, Sneeer.
Cyril Vouilloz, aka RYLSEE, is an Visual Artist originally from Geneva Switzerland and currently living in Berlin. With a background in typography, design and mural painting, he's is obsessed with words and hand-drawn type compositions. Rylsee spent a year living in the Vancouver East side working at REDGATE as a designer, curator and co-organiser of art shows and cultural events. Afterwards he spent 4 months exploring São Paulo, Brazil. Rylsee is currently an artist resident at URBAN SPREE , in the heart of Berlin.
Sneeer is a project founded by the artist Rylsee and his brother. After having spent years mastering different art mediums including drawing, painting, typography, installation and sculpture, Rylsee has pulled them cohesively together for his new project "Sneeer." His humour, wit, observations, friendliness and yet simplistically in-depth daily thoughts have been developed into aesthetics fashion.
Rylsee's notions have influenced, engaged and bonded people from different cultures and lifestyles for over a decade. "Sneeer" is something we can all finally wear; sharing smiles and attentive insights with family and friends. It serves a purpose to make us appreciate everything that is around us. A commonplace where you don’t have to follow trends, but just follow your smile. The art is a combination reflecting on love and the essential need to discover the unknown with humour.
